Sometimes Bold, Visionary Women Don’t Respond Well to Therapy

Because we don’t want to be analyzed.
We don’t want to be pathologized.
We don’t want to be told how we should feel.

We’ve survived. We’ve built. We’ve led.
And sitting in the same chair every week rehashing the same stories over and over again doesn’t feel like healing — it can feel like dragging.

If that’s you, you’re not broken. You’re just not built for the traditional model.

What Most Therapy Misses

Independent, powerful and rebellious women building soul-led businesses, managing teams, holding a creative vision, and running households don’t need to talk about their problems every week.

They need to move through them.
To rewire what’s underneath.
To be seen and supported without being softened.

What many therapists don’t understand is that when a high-functioning woman walks into a room, it doesn’t mean she’s “fine.” It means she’s holding a lot — and she probably doesn’t trust you enough to drop it all yet.

The Problem Isn’t You — It’s the Model

Traditional therapy was designed for containment.
But visionary women don’t want to be contained — they want to be catalyzed.

We want depth.
We want truth.
We want transformation that honors the wild and the wise — not just the wounded.

What Actually Works

The women I work with don’t want maintenance.
They want a breakthrough.
They want to remember who the f*ck they are and start making moves that reflect it.

That’s why my work focuses on:

  • EMDR for releasing the stories that keep you stuck in overthinking and over-performing

  • Somatic therapy for nervous system repatterning — so your body isn’t fighting your growth

  • Psychedelic-assisted therapy (where legal) for women ready to drop the mask and meet their truth

Whether you’re working with me online or in person in Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel Valley, San Luis Obispo, or Big Sur, you’ll get more than insight — you’ll get momentum.

You Don’t Need to Be Held — You Need to Be Witnessed

This is a different kind of space.
One where you can be loud, raw, wise, lost, powerful, and visionary — all in one breath.

If therapy hasn’t worked for you, maybe you don’t need “fixing.”
Maybe you’re just not meant to do it the conventional way.

I offer some unconventional ways of working together, including intensives, psychedelic assisted therapy and meeting less frequently — depending what your needs are.
